Not every creative decision needs to be understood by everyone.
Sometimes you choose the slower process because you care about the result.
Sometimes you remove something that other people liked.
Sometimes you take a direction that doesn’t make immediate sense.
Sometimes you simply know that something doesn’t belong in the work—even if you can’t fully explain why.
That doesn’t mean you should ignore feedback.
Good creators listen.
But listening isn’t the same as surrendering your judgment.
There comes a point where you have to trust the understanding you’ve developed through experience.
You won’t always be able to explain every instinct.
You won’t always convince everyone.
And you don’t have to.
Your responsibility isn’t to make every decision universally understandable.
It’s to make the best decisions you can for the work.
That’s what creative judgment is for.
