There is a time to slow down.
There is also a time to move again.
The purpose of stepping away isn’t to stay away forever.
It’s to return with better perspective.
Maybe you discovered what wasn’t working.
Maybe you realized what deserved more attention.
Maybe you changed your mind.
Maybe you simply remembered why you started.
Whatever the pause revealed, eventually you have to do something with it.
Make the change.
Rewrite the section.
Finish the project.
Start the next one.
Creative growth isn’t found in constant movement.
But it isn’t found in permanent reflection either.
At some point, you have to take what you’ve learned and put it back into the work.
Pause when you need to.
Pay attention while you’re there.
Then, when the time comes, move again—with greater clarity than before.
